QUETTA: Security forces have successfully thwarted an attempt by members of the banned group “Fitna Al-Hindustan” to set up a roadblock on the M-40 highway near Dalbandin, Balochistan. The forces engaged in a fierce clash with the militants, resulting in the deaths of 6 to 7 operatives of the group.
According to official sources, the confrontation took place earlier today as the militants tried to establish a roadblock to disrupt security operations in the region. However, security forces responded swiftly, neutralizing the threat.
In the ensuing firefight, 3 security personnel tragically lost their lives. Authorities have confirmed that the operation is ongoing, with further searches being carried out in the area to ensure the complete eradication of the militants.
Security forces has pledged to continue efforts to maintain peace and security in the region and has commended the bravery of the security forces involved in the operation.
