SWAT (Shahzad Naveed): A fatal shooting incident near the Rahimabad Shell fuel station in Swat has resulted in the death of three individuals.
According to the Swat Police Spokesperson, unidentified assailants opened fire on a vehicle, leaving three people critically wounded. The victims were immediately rushed to Saidu Sharif Hospital for emergency medical treatment; however, they succumbed to their injuries while at the facility.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the attack was motivated by a long-standing personal enmity. It was further revealed that legal cases involving the parties had previously been registered at both the Rahimabad and Saidu police stations.
Following the incident, the District Police Officer (DPO) of Swat took immediate notice, prompting police forces to cordon off the area to track down the perpetrators. Law enforcement agencies have assured the public that the accused involved in the shooting will be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice to face the full weight of the law.
