It may be noted that Virat Kohli, the star batsman from India, has also been a consistent performer in T20 games. He also has to his credit the record of the most T20 century partnerships of 47.

With this particular achievement, Kohli and Babar now share the distinction of being the players with the highest number of T20 century partnerships.

Apart from this outstanding feat, Babar has also established himself as the player with the most century partnerships in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He leads this list with an astounding total of 18 century partnerships.

Zalmi remain unbeaten, secure another win over Quetta Gladiators

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi delivered a dominant performance in the 29th match of PSL 11, securing a comprehensive 118-run victory over the Quetta Gladiators in Karachi.

After being put into bat, Zalmi’s powerhouse lineup surged to a formidable total of 255, anchored by a masterful unbeaten century from Babar Azam. Azam’s clinical display of batting earned him the Player of the Match honours and set a steep mountain for the opposition to climb.

In response, the Quetta Gladiators struggled to keep pace with the massive required run rate, eventually being bundled out for just 137 runs.

Bevan Jacobs provided the only significant resistance for the Gladiators, top-scoring with 34 runs before the innings collapsed. The Zalmi bowling attack proved relentless, led by the duo of Mohammad Basit and Ali Raza, who dismantled the batting order by claiming three wickets apiece.

This commanding win solidifies Peshawar Zalmi’s position at the summit of the points table, while Quetta Gladiators remain in fourth place as the tournament progresses.
