LANDI KOTAL (Syed Haroon Malal): The repatriation of undocumented Afghan nationals from various cities across Pakistan and districts within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains steady, with official figures confirming that 7,383 individuals were returned to Afghanistan on April 15 via Torkham border.

According to official sources, the process involved formal registration and processing at several designated holding centres, including facilities at Nasir Bagh, Juma Khan Camp, Aza Khel, Swabi, and Haripur. A significant number of individuals were also processed at the holding camp situated near the Hamza Baba Shrine in Landi Kotal.

Following the completion of documentation and registration protocols, the nationals, which included several officially deported individuals, were transported to the Torkham border for final crossing into Afghanistan. Authorities have emphasised that the crackdown on foreigners residing illegally in the country will persist, noting that security and administrative measures are being further tightened to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the expulsion process.
