Spokesperson for Lady Reading Hospital(LRH) Peshawar said on Wednesday that a special international mission is visiting the hospital to provide free treatment to children born with a hole in their heart, also known as Congenital Heart Defect (CHD).
In this mission, expert doctors from Turkey and Pakistan will jointly perform complex surgeries. Under this program, surgeries and medical facilities worth lakhs of rupees will be provided to deserving children completely free of cost.
World-renowned cardiologists and surgeons from Turkey will work with LRH experts to perform procedures to close the heart holes of children using the latest technology.
According to the spokesperson, parents have been instructed to immediately contact the Paediatric Cardiology Department of LRH Peshawar to register their children. The purpose of registration is to screen patients so that all necessary tests can be completed before the surgery.
This facility is for all those parents who cannot afford expensive treatment for their children. For registration, it is necessary to bring the child’s previous medical reports and identity documents form (B).
Parents can visit the Cardiology Department of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar in the morning (during OPD hours) to register their children.
