ISLAMABAD: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Farhan bin Faisal has arrived in Pakistan to participate in high-level diplomatic meetings amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East. He landed at Nur Khan Air Base in Islamabad on a special flight and was welcomed by senior officials.
A crucial meeting is underway in the context of mediation for de-escalation in the Middle East.
Notably, the foreign ministers of Egypt and Turkey also arrived in Islamabad yesterday and held discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Foreign Office. The meetings focused on the overall situation in the region and potential measures to reduce tensions.
According to sources, an important meeting is scheduled in Islamabad today involving the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt. They will consider diplomatic strategies and discuss a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
