LAKI MARWAT: Security forces have killed 5 Khawarij in a fierce exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation in the area.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out on information about the presence of Operation Fitna-ul-Khawarij.
According to the ISPR, arms and ammunition were also recovered from Indian-backed terrorists during the operation. These terrorists were involved in sabotage activities in the area.
A sanitisation operation is also underway in the area to search for more terrorists. The ISPR has said that operations against terrorists will continue under the resolve to remain steadfast.
