ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has called 2025 a year full of achievements, highlighting recent diplomatic and strategic successes, including Pakistan’s increasing relations with the United States.
While sharing his statement on social media, Khawaja Asif remarked:
Alhamdulillah! Achieved 2025 has been a year. The hybrid system’s partnership is still producing results.

Particularly following Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he underlined Pakistan’s recent victory over India, the defence pact with Saudi Arabia, and remarkable advances in Pakistan-US relations. and field marshal Syed Asim Munir’s conversation with US President Donald Trump.

Including US Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as well as Pakistani leadership, the prominent meeting happened at the White House. Though the specifics of the Oval Office dialogue have not been released, it lasted one hour and 20 minutes.
