India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in the Asia Cup Super Four round match held in Dubai.
Batting first, India scored 168 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Abhishek Sharma played a stellar innings, scoring 75 runs off 37 balls, which included 6 fours and 4 sixes. Shubman Gill contributed 29 runs, but the other batsmen struggled to make significant scores.
In response, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 127 runs in 19.3 overs. Saif Hasan was the standout performer for Bangladesh, scoring 69 runs, but the rest of the batsmen failed to reach even 50 runs, with nine players unable to score in double figures.
For India, Kuldeep Yadav was the standout bowler, taking 3 wickets for just 18 runs, while Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy each claimed 2 wickets. On the Bangladesh side, Rashad Hossain took 2 wickets, while Mustafizur Rahman and Tanzeem Hossain each took 1 wicket.

Bangladesh captain Liton Das was unable to play due to an injury, so Zakir Ali led the team in his absence. Bangladesh made four changes to their lineup, while India retained their squad. Earlier in the Super Four stage, India had defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets, and Bangladesh had triumphed over Sri Lanka by 4 wickets.
