HANGU: In a major boost to healthcare services in the district, Health Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appointed 30 medical officers to the Shaheed Fareed Khan District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Hangu.
According to officials, the Health Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has formally issued notification orders for the appointment of the doctors.
The newly appointed medical officers are expected to assume charge within the next few days and will be posted across various departments at the hospital.
Last month, six dental surgeons were also appointed to the facility and are currently serving patients.
Officials said the fresh appointments are likely to bring a visible improvement in healthcare delivery at the DHQ hospital and provide much-needed relief to residents of the district.
