ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist Hasan Ayub claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Falak Javed Khan, arrested by police from an upscale Islamabad Sector F-10 apartment, is now held under arrest. Senior journalist Hasan Ayub claims that Barrister Salman Akram Raja’s home served as the scene of the arrest.

According to details, Falak Javed is charged with utilizing social media multiple times for unlawful activity. Law enforcement agencies claim she was directly engaged in a negative campaign against state institutions and broke numerous provisions of Pakistan’s Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).

According to the police, Falak Javed had been dodging arrest for a long time but was expertly caught after a covert tip-off.

Both Sanam Javed and her sister Falak Javed stand accused of using social media to disseminate fake accusations and incorrect information against state institutions and government officials.

These activities are denounced not just as deceptive but also as premeditated tries to undermine the reputation of governmental organizations.

Police have stressed the need of an honest and comprehensive inquiry to find all facts connected to the case. Authorities have confirmed that everyone is equal before the law and no one, including Falak Javed, will be regarded higher than it.
