CHARSADDA: A gas cylinder explosion has claimed the lives of two family members in a tragic incident that occurred in the house of a man named Ibrahim in the Tariqabad area of Utmanzai Tehsil in Charsadda on Thursday wee hours.
As soon as the incident was reported, on the instructions of District Emergency Officer Ghayur Mushtaq Khan, an ambulance and fire vehicle of Rescue 1122 Charsadda were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident.
As a result of the accident, father Ibrahim was seriously injured, while his two children (son and daughter) died on the spot.
Rescue 1122 personnel took immediate rescue action and shifted the injured for medical assistance.
