Keira Cousins, 22, has sparked shock and outrage after collecting gifts in her community in Scotland after her faked a pregnancy and gave birth to a plastic doll, then claimed the baby died.
Kira wore a prosthetic bump and faked ultrasound scans, hospital visits and even a gender reveal party. Her family and friends believed the pregnancy was real and bought her expensive gifts, until Kira’s mother discovered the doll in her room.
Kira, while giving a statement on social media, said that she herself did not understand when to end this game. The incident sparked a large-scale discussion, and many people said that Kira should seek mental help.
Kira’s friend New Mac Robert said that people became suspicious when the ‘baby’ was never heard crying. Kira did not let anyone come near the child and claimed that the child was sick and had recently been to the hospital.
New Mac Robert added that Kira deleted every photo and video. I asked the child’s father if it was a doll? He replied that yes, it was a doll. Kira even said that the child had died.
The incident shocked everyone because everyone had believed it for months, celebrated the joys of the gender reveal party and watched the fake scans.
