BANNU: At least 15 militants were killed in an intelligence-based operation in the Domel area of Bannu.
The hideout is described as a redundant residential structure being used by the militant as their hideout.
This hideout was observed for a month, and intelligence information confirmed the presence of the terrorists.
This hideout was used to carry out different terrorist activities in the surrounding areas.
Four to five more militants were seen entering the hideout on the day of the operation, joining those already inside. Following the confirmation, an operation was carried out.
Initial reports indicate the operation successfully eliminated the militants in the hideout without causing any other damage to the surroundings.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Bannu, along with the District Police, killed two most wanted target killers of Fitnatul Khawarij during a successful intelligence-based operation in Mamakhel, Huwaid area of Bannu district.
According to the CTD spokesperson, there was information that some terrorists were planning a major sabotage operation in the area. Upon receiving the information, CTD SWAT teams and Bannu police launched a joint operation. During the operation, the terrorists opened fire on the forces, who retaliated effectively. The exchange of fire continued for about half an hour.
