PESHAWAR: The Workers Welfare Board (WWB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced the list of successful candidates selected through balloting for the year 2026 to perform Hajj.
According to the list issued by WWB, 15 workers from various industrial units of the province, along with 2 employees of the WWB, have been selected, while 10 workers have been placed in the alternate category. The alternates will be allowed to perform Hajj in case any of the selected candidates are unable to proceed.
The names of the selected workers are Muhammad Qausain, Zarwali Khan, Muhammad Atif, Parvez Khan, Sabz Ali Khan, Sona Khan, Muhammad Ashiq Ali, Shafiq ur Rehman, Muhammad Rehman, Muhammad Waqar, Wahid Zaman, Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Shah, Muhammad Naveed, and Nisar Ali.
The alternate workers are Gul Zaman, Waheed Murad, Muhammad Abrar, Naveed Iqbal, Siddique Akbar, Aurangzeb, Sanran Khan, Amina Shah, Muhammad Shakeel, and Hidayat Ullah.
Shakila and Irshad Khan have been selected from the WWB staff, while Zarshad has been placed in the alternate category.

It is worth mentioning that the balloting for the selection of workers for Hajj was conducted under the supervision of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour Fazal Shakoor Khan, in the presence of the Hajj committee members and other officials of the WWB.
The WWB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will bear all expenses of the selected workers, ensuring that they can perform Hajj free of cost.
