HARIPUR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi, while slamming the federal government policies, said that the world reached the moon while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was begging for peace even from its own government.

Sohail Afridi harshly criticized the federal government and called it an imposed group of “Form 47”. He said that he would defeat this corrupt group in both the fields of politics and governance.

He was addressing the 5th convocation of the University of Haripur as a special guest. On this occasion, he distributed certificates to the graduating students and congratulated them, expressing the hope that they will play a key role in the development of the country and nation by stepping into practical life.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister made important announcements for the people of Haripur, among which was the establishment of the University of Haripur Tehsil Campus in Ghazi. “Peace, health, and education are the top priorities of my government. We will also build roads and solve all other problems of the area. You don’t need to worry; this is our own province,” He remarked.

“The world has reached the moon, but unfortunately, we are still begging for peace. An elected Prime Minister (Imran Khan) was removed through a conspiracy in closed rooms because he had raised his voice for the Muslim Ummah at the global level,” he added.

The Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the situation in the Tirah Valley and said that people were forcibly evicted from their homes during heavy snowfall. He called the federal ministers “shameless” and said that on one hand, people are making sacrifices, and on the other hand, federal ministers are making fun of them. He clarified that no one leaves the homes of their own free will; these people were forcibly evicted, and no financial assistance was given.

“I will stand against every policy of whoever goes against the interests of my province. If faced with any external aggression, the Pakhtun nation will fight before the army, but we will not be part of anyone’s war now,” he made it clear.
