RIYADH: The World Defence Exhibition 2026 has officially begun in the Saudi capital Riyadh, in which 80 countries, including Pakistan, are participating.

Pakistan is represented by several organizations including Global Industrial and Defence Solutions, Heavy Industries Taxila, and Pakistan Ordnance Factory.

Pakistan’s modern defence equipment and missile systems are being presented at the exhibition, including the Fateh-2 missile that strengthened Pakistan’s defence capability during the war against India.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif attended the exhibition at the invitation of the Saudi government, while Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry also visited the exhibition. On this occasion, Talal Chaudhry said that after the defence agreements between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the relations between the two countries have become stronger and more stable.
