ABBOTTABAD: Over 400 students received MBBS degrees in the 25th convocation of Women’s Medical College, Abbottabad.

More than 400 female students were awarded MBBS and BDS degrees. The students and teacher expressed their excitement over the 25th-year Silver Jubilee celebrations. The student lauded the efforts of the Principal of Women’s Medical College, Doctor Salma Kundi, and others. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Professor Dr Zia-ul-Haq. Addressing the occasion, Dr Zia-ul Haq said that today they are very proud to see the students of Women’s Medical College graduate from this institute.

He said that 25 years ago, when this college was established, people were criticising this step and said this college would fail to achieve its results due to low women enrolment, however when the college started functioning large number of girls students started to take admission, and today, with the mercy of God Almighty, it is the 25th anniversary of the college and 400 students graduated from this institute today.
