Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has been fined for violating the election code of conduct.
The District Monitoring Officer of Faisalabad imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on the federal minister. Notices were issued to Talal Chaudhry twice for violations. Violation of the code of conduct, the Election Commission issued a notice to Talal Chaudhry. Talal Chaudhry was given notice twice on November 11 and November 16 for violating the election code of conduct. He was also blocked on the phone for violating the code of conduct. According to reports, the matter has been sent to the Chief Election Commission of Pakistan for further action.
Earlier, the Election Commission of Pakistan summoned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for violating the election code of conduct. The Chief Minister was represented by Advocate General and his Lawyers, who excused that the Chief Minister was busy in an important meeting.
