Nowadays, every citizen of Pakistan, especially those belonging to the middle and poor classes, is worried. Whether they are entrepreneurs or employed, almost every person says that they are not making a living. What is the reason for this, and where does their salary or income disappear as soon as it comes?

The answer to this has been given in the Household Integrated Economic Survey, which has shown that the common citizen in Pakistan is in the grip of inflation and increasing economic pressure, and two-thirds of their income is spent only on paying food and electricity bills, while their dependence on remittances is increasing.

This survey also shows that one-third of the income that remains after paying the necessities of life, food and electricity bills, becomes extremely difficult to meet other needs of life.

According to the survey, citizens spend only 2.5 percent of their income on education, which is less than half of their housing expenses, while the share of remittances in household income has increased from 5 percent to almost 8 percent.

The survey reflects that it is becoming increasingly difficult for the average citizen in Pakistan to meet daily expenses, and inflation has affected both the lives and future of the people.

Economists have warned that young and talented people are leaving the country due to a lack of employment opportunities.
