CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp has recently initiated the testing of a new application version tailored for the Apple Watch, which will let the users to get messages, media, and notifications right on their wrist.
As per the news from WhatsApp Beta Info, the new version will let the users of the Apple Watch to open their chat lists, send messages without a wait for notifications, and even use emojis to react to messages.
Also, user will be allowed to record an audio message and give their voice as input for dictating a message. Nevertheless, the new Apple Watch version will not be a standalone one, but rather, combined with a watch connected to an iPhone that has WhatsApp installed will do the trick.
Users can experience new features by installing iOS WhatsApp beta 25.32.10.71.
This new update is WhatsApp’s latest effort to extend its usability to more devices, thus providing Apple Watch users with better integration with the popular messaging platform. However, iPhone dependency for full functionality may be a reason that some people want a standalone app will not find attractive.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is adding new features to the application to help users deal with mobile storage, a problem that they are most likely with the huge dump of messages, photos, and videos. The update will be available soon on the Meta-owned messaging platform.

The feature called “New Storage Management” enables users to decide which media files photos, videos, PDFs from each chat are stored. Users can freely manage storage from the information screen of each chat, thus, it is very convenient to delete or view large files without interrupting the conversation.
With the help of individual chats in storage management, WhatsApp intends to provide users with more freedom over their device storage, at the same time, not to disrupt their messaging experience
