PESHAWAR: The auction for personalized marks choice number plates is currently taking place at the arena hall of Qayyum sports complex, attracting significant public interest. The event has been memorable due to the high bids, with various unique number plates selling for substantial amounts.
According to the latest updates, the “Waziristan 1” number plate has fetched the highest price, selling for an astounding Rs 46 million, making it the highest bid ever recorded. Faizur Rehman set this record by winning the number plate.
There was also fierce competition for the “Mohammed 1” number plate, which was sold for Rs 32.1 million to Haji Zahir Gul. Additionally, the “Pashtun 1” number plate secured the third-highest bid, selling for Rs 13.2 million.
The enthusiasm displayed by participants at the event indicates that buyers are willing to invest significant amounts of money in unique and distinctive number plates. Bidding is still ongoing for more choice number plates at the Arena Hall, and it is anticipated that new record-breaking bids may emerge in the coming days.
