The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) team achieved victory at the 54th National Gymnastics Championship with an outstanding performance.
WAPDA athletes secured a total of 15 medals, including 8 gold medals, during the championship.
The Pakistan Army team finished in second place, while the Pakistan Railways team took third. Muhammad Afzal from WAPDA was recognised as the best player of the championship for his exceptional performance.
Participating teams included WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Railways, as well as representatives from Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The star batsman of the Pakistan cricket team, Babar Azam, has crossed another barrier in T20 International and has taken the record of most 50+ innings in the format, scored by India’s Virat Kohli.
Babar this year accomplished this unforgettable event when he played in the last T20 match of the series against the South Africans in Lahore. The Pakistani skipper made a fantastic 51 runs in 36 balls, which was his 40th half-century in T20 Internationals and thus, broke the record that Kohli held for a long time.
