PESHAWAR (Salman Yousafzai): Wafaq Al-Madaris Al-Arabiya Pakistan, the largest religious education board in Pakistan, has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations.
A total of 629,962 male and female students from across the country participated in the examinations, with 536,408 passing and 93,554 failing. Among the participants, 102,150 students qualified as Huffaz, resulting in an overall pass rate of 85%.
The results were presented by Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, President of Wafaq Al-Madaris, and Nazim-e-Ala Maulana Qari Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari, as stated by Mufti Sirajul Hassan, the spokesperson for Wafaq Al-Madaris Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The examination involved 629,962 students from 27,762 madrasas, including 154,000 male students and 367,162 female students. Of the 108,780 Huffaz, comprising 89,486 males and 19,294 females, 102,150 passed, while 6,630 failed.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several institutions achieved notable success. These include Osmania University Peshawar, Al-Zaitun University Abbottabad, Arabiya Meraj-ul-Uloom Bannu, Madrasa Arabiya Mazahir-ul-Uloom Mamshkhel Bannu, Jamia Zakaria Darul-Iman Karbogha Sharif Hangu, Jamia Darul-Uloom Islamia Banuri Town Lakki Marwat, Jamia Muhammadia Tajuri Lakki Marwat, Madrasa Abi Ibn Kaab Tor Dher Swabi, Madrasa Muahid-ul-Iman Haripur, Madrasa Zainab Bint Ali Abbottabad, Madrasa Umm Habiba for Girls Tila Khel Peshawar, and Jamia Khadija Al-Kubra for Girls Sarai Saleh Haripur.
