The dollar closed at Rs 281.52 in the interbank market today, down by 3 paise. Meanwhile, in the open market, the dollar fell by 5 paise to Rs 282.55.
In contrast, the stock market ended on a positive note after the State Bank announced that it would maintain interest rates. On the first business day of the week, the Pakistan Stock Market experienced a bullish trend, rising to 155,000 points with a gain of more than 1,100 points during trading. The Hundred Index climbed 945 points, closing at 155,384 points.
