QUETTA: Unverified Social Media posts have claimed that Hawa Baloch, alias Drushom, is alive and in the custody of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Quetta, Balochistan.
A video of the terrorist outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)’s female terrorist, Hawa Baloch aka Drushom, has making rounds across Social Media platforms, where users claimed that she is alive in the custody of FC.
Drushom was among the attackers who carried out the January 31 terrorist attacks in multiple cities of Balochistan. According to the security forces, 177 militants have been eliminated in the two-day operation.
In the video, Hawa Baloch, also known as Droshum Baloch, can be heard saying that she previously worked at the University of Balochistan, where she was allegedly blackmailed by BLA chief Bashir Zeb.
She further alleged that her private videos were recorded using the university’s security cameras and that she was threatened with making the footage viral if she refused to work for the BLA, highlighting what she described as the group’s brutality.
The Government of Balochistan has also reiterated that families of individuals who join terrorist organisations such as the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), and their factions, and fail to report or formally dissociate themselves from such elements, will face strict legal and administrative restrictions.
The restrictions include the blocking of passports, freezing of bank accounts, suspension of mobile SIMs, prohibition on buying or selling property, termination of contracts with government organisations, and cancellation of government employment and tenders.
Following the recent BLA attack on January 31, the identities of 140 terrorists have been confirmed. The federal and provincial authorities have now begun implementing the announced policy, which has been repeatedly communicated in the past.
