ATTOCK: A drone, whose origin remains unclear, crashed in Fateh Jang, prompting an immediate visit to the crash site by District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, Sardar Moarhan Khan. The DPO conducted a thorough inspection of the area and issued instructions to tighten security measures in the region.

DPO Attock discussed the drone crash and how it highlights the importance of security in the region. He emphasized the importance of tightening security.

“Protecting the lives and properties of citizens is of the utmost importance to us,” said DPO Attock Mr. Khan. “Any untoward situation must be dealt with immediately.”

Following the drone crash, the authorities are investigating the situation to take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of citizens.

Crackdown against drones, several people arrested, 8 drones recovered in Bannu

Earlier, in view of the recent security situation and suspicious drone activities, the district administration has banned the possession and use of quadcopters/drones and arrested several persons while recovering eight drones.

On the instructions of higher authorities, Bannu Police conducted operations in different areas and arrested several people who were possessing drones without permission, while 8 drones were recovered and taken into government custody.

According to police officials, it has been made mandatory for those wishing to possess or use drones to obtain prior NOC from the Home Department, the concerned Deputy Commissioner and the DPO office. In case of possessing or flying a drone without NOC, legal action will be taken against the concerned persons under the prevailing laws and the drone will be confiscated.

Bannu Police has appealed to the citizens to fully abide by the law to maintain law and order and immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station. Police say that only with the cooperation of the public can lasting peace be ensured in the area.
