United Arab Emirates(UAE) President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrives in Pakistan via Islamabad International Airport, where he was received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The distinguished guest is scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other high-ranking figures.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the UAE President’s visit will be helpful in increasing cooperation in various sectors including bilateral trade, investment, energy and development.

A holiday has been announced in Islamabad in the context of the UAE President’s visit to Pakistan. The Islamabad High Court has also declared a holiday today. According to the notification of the Registrar Islamabad High Court, the Islamabad High Court and Islamabad District Courts will remain closed on December 26.

The Registrar of the Federal Constitutional Court also issued a public holiday notification, canceling today’s cause list.

According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Islamabad’s hospitals, banks, essential services offices, Metropolitan Corporation, CDA offices, Islamabad Administration, Police, IESCO and Sui Northern Gas offices will remain open today.
