ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaibi, has announced that labour visas for Pakistani citizens will soon be reissued, and preparations are well underway.
He made this statement during a meeting with a delegation from the Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association. Various issues related to employment and the issuance of work visas for Pakistani workers in the UAE were discussed in detail during the meeting.
Ambassador Al Zaibi confirmed that steps are being taken to issue work visas for Pakistanis, and progress is expected shortly, which will create additional employment opportunities. He also emphasised the ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE, highlighting that the relations between the two countries are strong, particularly in providing skilled manpower.
Additionally, Al Zaibi praised the skills and professional capabilities of Pakistani workers, noting that they play a vital role in the development of the UAE and in promoting the country’s economy.
