PESHAWAR: Security forces foiled a militant attack on the Hassan Khel Police Station in Peshawar’s suburban area on Saturday, killing two terrorists and injuring two others during the exchange of fire.
According to police, the attackers were repelled after officers responded swiftly and effectively, displaying exceptional courage and professionalism. Intense gunfire was reported during the clash, prompting police to call for reinforcements.
Following the encounter, a search operation was launched to track down any remaining suspects, while additional security personnel were deployed to maintain control of the area.
The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar praised the officers for their bravery and tactical response, commending their role in successfully thwarting the militant assault.
