PESHAWAR: Following the approval from the Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the Inspector General of police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Monday transferred two senior police officers.
According to a notification issued by the IG office on Monday, Muhammad Ali Khan, PSP (BS-20), was appointed as additional inspector general (AIG) of Elite Force, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Muhammad Hussain, PSP (BS-19) given the responsibilities of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Crime Investigation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The notification noted that Muhammad Ali was previously pursuing the 123rd National Management Course (NMC) and, upon its completion, he was posted as AIG Elite Force KP.
Similarly, Muhammad Hussain was serving as Director of Research and Analysis Investigation Unit at CPO Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have transferred and posted three senior police officers across the province.
The Office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, issued a notification of postings and transfers the other day, stating that, on the directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, two senior police officers were transferred.
It stated that Taimoor Ali Khan, who was currently serving as the District Police Officer (DPO) of Lower Kohistan, has been transferred and posted as DPO Dir Lower.
Similarly, the district police officer, Lower Dir, Mr Abdul Salam Khalid, was posted as DPO Lower Kohistan, replacing Taimoor Khan.
Also, Asmat Ara DSP (BS-17), who was serving at the KP Tourism police wing, has been close to the CPO, Peshawar.
