Two persons were killed and one was injured when two rival parties opened firing on each others in grocery market Charsadda.
The deceased and the injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Charsadda. The incident took place in an illegal vegetable market set up at Sugar Mills Ground.
This market was earlier located at Farooq Azam Chowk, but the administration declared it illegal and removed it. After this, the market was shifted to Sugar Mills Ground, to which the administration has also objected.
Local sources said that the incident was result of exchange of hard words over gorccery market where government has banned commercial activities due to some unknown reasons.
The incident caused grief in the area and people creticised the police inaction to timely avert the incident which resulted killing of two precious lives and injuring others.
