TANK: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday killed two of the most wanted terrorists in an intelligence-based operation conducted in Tank district.
According to CTD, during the operation, weapons were recovered from the eliminated terrorists. It said the terrorists were involved in target killings and kidnappings of police personnel and other terror crimes.
The CTD mentioned that the terrorists were also involved in attacks on judges’ convoys and police mobile phones in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It said five police personnel were martyred in the firing by the terrorists. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed congratulated the force on the successful operation.
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed clarified that operations against anti-national elements will continue until they are completely washed out.
