WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump of the United States announced a plan to hand out at least $2,000 to every citizen from the money made by newly imposed trade tariffs. The announcement was made on the 9th of November 2025 in Washington.

Based on the reports from various foreign media, President Trump informed them that he would pay the amounts to the citizens of the USA as a share, however, people with high incomes would not be allowed to participate in the program.

“We are winning trillions of dollars deals, and shorty after we will be able to pay off our $37 trillion national debt which is very huge,” said Trump. “Every American, except those with higher incomes, will be given at least $2,000.”

Trump’s announcement comes while the U.S. Supreme Court is examining the legal aspects of Trump’s tariffs policies, some of which have been dismissed by the lower courts.

On the sidelines, a couple of economists suggest that this move might be a part of Trump’s larger plan to garner local support and to spark off consumer spending before making other important financial decisions.

In his last month’s interview, Trump had a word or two about such a move. He suggested that the administration could use the tariff proceeds to give each citizen $1,000 to $2,000 annually. He went on to say that the new tariffs might lead to a revenue of more than $1 trillion for the U.S. Treasury per year.

As a result of the approval, the direct payments will be among the largest single occasions where the government handed down money directly to its ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌people.

Trump announces Kazakhstan’s inclusion in the Abraham accords

U.S. President Donald Trump in his historic announcement, declared that Kazakhstan is the latest addition to the Abraham Accords, a pact geared towards fostering peaceful co-existence between Israel and Muslim-majority countries.

The announcement followed a meeting of President Trump with the leaders of Central Asian nations including the visit of the White House by the President of Kazakhstan.

Without any doubt, Trump was quick to call Kazakhstan a “great country with visionary leadership” and he even reasserted that the Abraham Accords participation of the country would be a very significant factor in the establishment of peace, security and economic growth not only in the Greater Middle East but also in Central Asia.

The Abraham Accords, which are one of the legacies of Donald Trump’s first term, have enabled political normalization between Israel and several Muslim-majority countries, the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco being the most notable ones. This agreement opens the door not only for a hugely increased economic and political partnership but also for the region to become safer and more stable as a consequence.

The Abraham Accords, which are a product of Trump’s first term in the White House, have brought about political normalization between Israel and the Muslim-majority countries of UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco, among others. This pact sets the stage for more significant economic and political collaboration and, at the same time, security and stability in the region are strengthened.

Kazakhstan’s participation in the Abraham Accords is a big move toward the realization of those objectives since it is already a pivotal player in the triangle between Russia and China, the geopolitically significant regions of the Middle East and Central Asia.

Trump stated that within a few days, the number of countries adhering to the Abraham accords would be increased. “This will bring about more peace and collaboration not only in the Middle East but worldwide,” he opined.

The President of Kazakhstan at the time of the announcement, stated that his nation was eager to collaborate not just with Israel but also with other partner countries that signed the Abraham Peace Accord to enhance peace and growth in the region.

The announcement is in line with what the US Special Representative for Middle East Affairs, Steve Vitkoff, said earlier that a new country would soon be coming on board the Abraham Accords.

The Abraham Accords have already made their mark by brilliantly enhancing Israel’s diplomatic and trade relationships with the Arab states which eventually led to the latter’s cooperation in the region.
