WASHINGTON: President Trump asserted that he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to ceasing not only the Russia-Ukraine conflict but also the deterring of conflicts such as the Pakistan-India one and many other international disputes.
“One of the first things people said would happen if I stopped the R-Ukraine war, was that I would be given the Nobel prize, but what they forgot was that while doing that I have stopped eight others,” Trump explained stating that he was heavily involved in peace efforts throughout the world. “I should have a Nobel Peace Prize for putting an end to all wars, but I wouldn’t want to be greedy,” he further articulated.
The U.S. president also brought up a recent comment from a Nobel laureate woman who recognized his positive impact on the world and recommended him for the Nobel Prize. Trump stressed that he is very empathetic towards people dying in wars and that his brave acts have averted mass casualties as he has intervened in many conflict areas.
While referring to his repeated diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine, Trump said, “The wars I’ve stopped are eight, the ninth will be the one in Russia-Ukraine.”
Trump admitted that the war in Ukraine was “complicated” and that the problem could not be easily solved.
Nevertheless, he was extremely confident that his arrival would once again make that region of the world peaceful.
Despite the difficulties, Trump remains dedicated to settling international disputes and he continues to view himself as the one who brings peace, not war.

Trump claims peace agreement near between Russia and Ukraine
US President Donald Trump has announced that his administration is nearing a deal to conclude the conflict, between Russia and Ukraine.
During a Thanksgiving gathering at the White House Trump recognized that many soldiers have lost their lives in the conflict. Nevertheless, he stated that there has been” progress”, toward achieving a peace agreement intended to conclude the war.
Trump emphasized that throughout his time in office he has ended eight conflicts, within nine months and is currently striving to prevent another.
The U.S. President stated that he had directed his envoy, Steve Witkoff to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Trump mentioned that just a handful of disputed issues are still outstanding in relation, to the proposed deal.
The White House additionally affirmed that remarkable advancements have been achieved in reaching a peace agreement although it emphasized that additional talks are necessary on some matters.
Recently American and Ukrainian authorities met in Geneva to discuss a 28-point U.S. Peace plan, following which both nations declared intentions to develop a framework.
President Trump has reportedly set a deadline of November 27 for Ukraine to accept the peace agreement.
