RAWALPINDI: The final of the T20 Tri-Nation Series will be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Stadium today 6:00 pm.

In the Tri-Nation Series, the Pakistan team won three out of four matches and made it to the final, while the Sri Lankan team made a brilliant comeback and defeated Zimbabwe in the last match after the first two matches to make it to the final.

Ali Tareen, owner of PSL franchise Multan Sultans, relinquishes ownership of the team

On the other hand, Ali Tareen, owner of Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans, announced that he will relinquish ownership of the franchise after a long dispute with the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Ali Tareen informed his fans about this decision on the social networking website X.

Ali Tareen said in his statement that his association with Multan Sultans was one of the greatest honors of his life.

He wrote that his relationship with the team, players, staff and the people of South Punjab has been very strong, and this is the same region that his late uncle Alamgir Tareen was also proud to represent.

He further said that every season he used to remind his players that South Punjab is a region of people who are known for hard work, courage and raising their voices for their rights.

According to Ali Tareen, defeat can be forgiven, but not giving up the struggle and this spirit has been the hallmark of Multan Sultans.
