PESHAWAR: The National Motorways and Highway Police (NHMP) on Wednesday announced the closure of different section motorways across the country due to dense fog. The visibility has significantly dropped on the reported points of the Motorways.
The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) made it clear that the M-1 Motorway which connects Peshawar to Rashakai has been closed as the drivers can hardly see anything. To ensure safety, the M, 3 Motorway from Faisalabad to Samundri has also been closed.

Tragic collision on M-1 Motorway near Swabi claims two lives
Yesterday, at least two people were killed and ten others were injured after five vehicles collided on the M-1 Motorway at the Anbar Interchange in Swabi.
The Rescue team was at the site immediately after the serious collision and administered medical aid to the injured before they took the bodies and the injured to Bacha Khan Medical Complex for further medical attention.
It is reported that the accident happened when the vehicles collided with each other along the road that links Peshawar to Islamabad.
