HANGU: At least 16 people sustained burn injuries following an accidental explosion triggered by a sudden fire in a motorcycle at Tall Ada, Hangu, officials confirmed.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Hangu, Khanzeb Mohmand, the incident occurred when petrol caught fire while work was being carried out on the motorcycle, leading to an accidental explosion. The DPO clarified that the nature of the incident was purely accidental.
Providing details on the victims, DPO Khanzeb Mohmand stated that 16 people were burnt in the resulting fire. Out of the total injured, 14 are reported to be in normal condition. Meanwhile, two individuals have been shifted to Dauba Rauf Hospital for further medical treatment.
