SWABI: At least two people were killed and ten others were injured after five vehicles collided on the M-1 Motorway at the Anbar Interchange in Swabi.
The Rescue team was at the site immediately after the serious collision and administered medical aid to the injured before they took the bodies and the injured to Bacha Khan Medical Complex for further medical attention.
It is reported that the accident happened when the vehicles collided with each other along the road that links Peshawar to Islamabad. The accident resulted in traffic flow being temporarily disrupted on the motorway, but the Rescue teams and Motorway Police managed to restore traffic flow in a short while restored traffic flow, which resumed within a short period.

Meanwhile, atragic event occurred at the Bacha Khan Medical Complex in Shah Mansoor Swabi when quintuplets who were born premature died five days after their delivery.
Hospital sources report that the babies who were born before their due date had their NICU transfer immediately conducted after their delivery. The quintuplets required continuous medical attention because they had entered the world.
Mohammad Naveed, the father of the quintuplets, resides in the Mansoor Khel area of Zida Swabi. The local community has suffered a significant loss which causes residents to express their deepest sympathies to the family that is in mourning.
The hospital reported that the infants’ health conditions reached a critical state during their first hours of life because they had been born prematurely and developed serious health issues. The NICU team delivered essential medical treatment through advanced procedures yet their efforts failed to enhance the patients’ fragile health condition.
The hospital administration confirmed that every possible effort was made to save the babies but their condition remained critical. District authorities and health officials have both expressed profound sadness regarding the tragic incident.
The community has united to provide support and comfort to the family during this challenging period.
