PESHAWAR: The National Highways and Motorway Police announced that all motorways, including M-1 Peshawar-Islamabad, have been reopened for traffic.

According to the motorway police spokesperson motorway M-1 from Peshawar to Islamabad has been reopened to all types of traffic after visibility improved.

Earlier, the M1 motorway from Peshawar Toll Plaza to Rashkai was closed for all kinds of traffic due to Dense fog and extremely low visibility.

Motorway M-2 Kot Momin to Khanqah Dogran has been reopened for traffic after visibility improved.

Motorway M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Sher Shah has been reopened to traffic after visibility improved.

The motorway police spokesperson stated that the closure of motorways is totally for the purpose of the safety of citizens and to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of people.
