GHALANAI: A severe hailstorm and heavy rainfall lashed the Parang Ghar area of Mohmand district, with Yusuf Baba and Ghundi areas hit hard by the recent severe weather damaging crops, damaging solar panels and property.
As reported locally, the hailstorm was of such severity that panic spread throughout the local residents. Farmers were at their wits end since most of the crops had reached harvesting season and were severely damaged.

While rain might have been a welcomed break in weather, the force of the hail storm caused the damage while some areas of the region lost power. The hailed destroyed solar panels providing electricity to homes and critical infrastructure.
