Security sources have dismissed rumours of any major military operation in Tirah, describing them as unfounded propaganda.
A senior security official spoke to media representatives in Karachi, clarifying that while no major military operation is underway in Tirah, Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) are being conducted. These IBOs have targeted Fitna-ul-Kharij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan over the past three years.
According to security sources, IBOs are the most effective approach to combating terrorism. Operations are carried out based on intelligence, and they will continue until every terrorist is eliminated. The official emphasised that the claims about an operation in Tirah are false; no additional troops have been deployed in the valley. This lack of troop reinforcement undermines the baseless rumours, and the connection between terrorists and criminals has been revealed. Importantly, he noted that no narrative can create a divide between the army and the people.
The relationship with tribal leaders and local communities is central to decision-making processes. Local conditions and traditions are always considered in consultations. Security sources have asserted that Fitna-ul-Hindustan in Balochistan genuinely stands against the progress and development of the local population. The people of Balochistan have identified those who engage in terrorism while falsely claiming to represent the deprived.
The development efforts in the province include the construction of over 25,000 kilometres of roads and the establishment of four heart disease hospitals. Security sources stated that the Pakistan Army dealt a significant defeat to the enemy during the battle for truth. If India attempts to disrupt peace again, the response will be even more forceful than before. India has been accused of funding terrorism in Afghanistan and Balochistan.
Moreover, Pakistan has made considerable advancements in drone technology. The official emphasised the importance of a strong media, stating that a robust media presence is crucial for Pakistan and that the media has played a vital role in the fight for justice.
