MALAKAND: A young girl posing as a boy while making videos on TikTok was arrested on Tuesday in the Kot tehsil of the Batkhela area in Malakand following a complaint from her mother.
According to the police, the TikToker’s mother reported that her daughter was uploading videos on social media while portraying herself as a boy, which she felt was negatively impacting both the family and society. Despite her mother’s repeated pleas to stop, the daughter continued her actions, prompting the mother to file a report at the police station.
The Levie force acted on the complaint and took the girl into custody. She was transferred to the Kot police station, where, after an initial investigation, she was sent to jail. Later, after her mother requested leniency and assured the authorities that her daughter would refrain from using social media in the future, the Levie authorities released the girl on bail.

According to police sources, the girl acknowledged that she pretended to be a boy on TikTok for entertainment purposes and did not intend to harm anyone.
