Three persons killed 11 injured when UPS Airlines cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in the US state of Kentucky.

‎According to US media reports, the accident resulted in a loud explosion and a fire. According to the US Federal Aviation Administration, three people, including the pilot, were killed in the accident, while eleven people were injured.

The accident occurred in the area of Grade Lane, damaging a building. Airport runway operations are temporarily suspended. According to authorities, the cause of the accident may have been an engine failure or a fuel leak, but a final report is awaited.
