BANNU: Three persons killed when armed men opened fire in Surani, within the limits of Basiya Khel police station in midnight Saturday.
Among the dead are Aamir Khan Durrani and Sudis Surani and Naeem who all were friends. Two of the dead persons were sleeping in their room, when armed person entered Hujra and attacked them in midnight.
In the last part of the night, people riding in a car came and opened fire indiscriminately on the room and later made their escape.
While Naeem was targeted by unknown armed men near Surani Park, he was third friend of the two killed in their Hujra. A police team has reached the scene and is collecting evidence and registered FIR.
The local strongly condemned the incidents and demanded the police and government to provide them security against the miscreants who target the people and police in broad day light and making their escape.
