PESHAWAR: Thousands of people visited different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during Eid ul Fitr holidays and enjoyed their vacations in the scenic locations of the province.
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tourism department, 101,420 tourists visited various tourist destinations of the province during the past three days of the Eid holidays, and the influx continues.
It said 58, 2014 tourists visited the Swat valley, Galiyat received 30,450 nature lovers, and Naran Kaghan welcomed 5,754 tourists from parts of the country who enjoyed their Eid holidays in the region’s picturesque locations.
The KP tourism department mentioned that 27 foreigners also paid visits to different hotspots and spent quality time.
Tourists also thronged the tourist places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chitral and Dir Upper Kumrat during the last three days, and more are on the way to travel to the destinations.
