ISLAMABAD: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Security Forces conducted a series of high-tempo, intelligence-driven operations as part of a relentless counter-terrorism campaign. During these operations, thirteen militants belonging to the Indian-backed group, Fitna Al Khwarij, were killed in five separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

The ISPR stated that during an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur District, our troops effectively engaged the militants’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, five militants were neutralized.

In two other encounters in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan Districts, three militants from Fitna Al Khwarij were successfully killed. Simultaneously, in two separate engagements in Khyber and South Waziristan Districts, our troops neutralized five additional militants.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from these Indian-supported militants, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.

It is important to emphasize that these operations are being conducted concurrently as Pakistan continues to address emerging challenges along its borders with Afghanistan. The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-supported militants found in the area. The relentless counter-terrorism campaign, guided by the vision Azm e Istehkam (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan), will continue at full pace to eradicate the threat of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
