The Islamabad High Court(IHC) has fixed November 04, 2025, for hearing the petition to close the X account of of founding chairman of PTI, Imran Khan.
In this regard, the Registrar’s Office has also issued a cause list of the case, which will be heard by Arbab Muhammad Tahir. It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court has issued a notice to the founder of PTI and sought a response, while the court has also sought a response from other parties, including the National Cyber Crime Agency and, Superintendent of Jail.
Regarding the case, the petitioner, citizen Ghulam Murtaza, has filed a petition through lawyer Barrister Zafarullah, in which the illegal and malicious tweets of the founder of PTI have been requested to be removed and blocked.
The petition also requests the court to remove and prevent the spread of alleged anarchic posts from the X account during Imran Khan’s imprisonment.
