Despite the shameful attempt of the Khawarij attack at Cadet College Wana, the teachers and cadets showed extraordinary courage and determination during the attack and expressed strong resolve to fight the menace with unity.
Describing the eyewitness account of the incident, the cadets said that the Khawarij only aimed to target our education, but we fought their attack not only with our courage but also with the timely help of the Pakistan Army and achieved success.
The cadets said that this attack was only to destroy our educational institution so that our educational journey would stop. “We were neither afraid of the attack nor did we let our determination diminish,” said a cadet.
The cadets said that the attack took place when they were engaged in drill. Suddenly, a suicide bomber came towards the college, on the Pakistan Army soldiers immediately took action and neutralized the attacker on the spot. The cadets said, “We were not afraid, but succeeded with the help of the Pakistan Army.”
A cadet further said that during the attack, he saw two Khawarijs who were being fired upon by the Pakistan Army soldiers. “The army soldiers told us not to worry, we have come.” According to the cadet, when the Khawarijs started moving towards the college building, the timely action of the Pakistan Army soldiers blocked their path.
“The Pakistan Army soldiers did not give the Khawarijs a chance to fire on us. We saw at that time that this attempt of the Khawarijs also failed as usual.” Another cadet said.
During the attack, the cadets not only demonstrated their determination but also raised slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army. “This was not only a defensive operation for us, but it was an opportunity to boost our morale,” said one cadet.
The cadets also said that the Khawarij thought they would succeed in their attack, but they did not know that the Pakistan Army was there. “The Pakistan Army not only stopped them but also thwarted all their efforts.”
Some cadets even said that they themselves had picked up stones against the Khawarij so that if the situation worsened, they could defend themselves. “This moment was not only a challenge for us but also an opportunity to do something to defend ourselves, and the Pakistan Army gave us that encouragement.”
After this attack, the determination and courage of the students and teachers of Cadet College Wana have become even stronger. They know that this attempt by the Khawarij will fail as always, and it is impossible to stop this sacred journey of education. For them, this moment was a memorable one and a lesson that no matter how difficult the times are, if we are together and have the help of the Pakistan Army, no enemy can defeat us.
