ISLAMABAD: In light of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the Iran-Israel conflict, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry emphasized the significant impact these geopolitical issues are having on the global economy, including Pakistan.

He pointed out that rising oil prices in the international market, resulting from regional instability, are directly affecting Pakistan’s economy, which heavily relies on imported fuel.

Chaudhry acknowledged that challenging times often necessitate difficult and unpopular decisions from the government. He stressed that these decisions are not made out of desire but to safeguard the nation’s economy and prevent a deeper crisis.

In his statement, he called for national unity, urging the public to support the government during these trying times. This is not the moment for division, but for unity and responsibility, Chaudhry said. We must show that, as a nation, we stand together with resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

He further stated that leadership must make wise decisions to guide Pakistan through these challenges and steer the nation toward recovery. Chaudhry highlighted the importance of collective responsibility, urging the media, the public, and every household to contribute.

Throughout history, nations have faced crises with patience, savings, and austerity. If we remain united, no crisis will hold us back for long, he added, calling for a spirit of cooperation and self-discipline during this difficult period.
